Funky cricket burger

Shape your Funky Falafel mix (spinach version) into burger patties and design your own cricket burger! The real foodies dare to experiment, do you?

Ingredients
Snack/ main course, 4p, 25 minutes.

  • 1 bag Funky Falafel (taste of your choice);
  • 1 bag of Rucola salad;
  • 2 tomatoes;
  • 1 cucumber;
  • 2 handfuls of cashews;
  • 2 stems of spring onion;
  • For the sauce: 2 table spoons (tbsp) mayonnaise, 1 tbsp yoghurt, 1/2 tbsp mustard, 1/4 tsp sambal (how much you dare)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Pepper & salt;
  • Oil to bake

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees;
  • Grind the cashew nuts in a blender;
  • Cut the spring onion, tomato and cucumber into slices;
  • Mix the Funky falafel with water as it says on the packaging;
  • Add the cashew nuts and spring onion, mix well
  • Put a bit of oil in your hands and shape the burger patties;
  • Put a drizzle of olive oil in your hands against the morals and the burgers;
  • Cut the hamburger buns open and spread a little oil over the inner sides, bone them with the greased inner sides on top of a baking sheet and bake until golden brown (this goes fast!)
  • Mix for the sauce: mayo, yogurt, mustard, sambal and season with salt and pepper;
  • Bake the burgers until golden brown on both sides;
  • Put it all together! Prepare the bottom of the bun and lay on it: rucola, cucumber, tomato, falafel burger and finally a generous amount of sauce. Cover with top bun and bite!
